Have you ever wondered how candles are made? During this exciting in-person practical workshop you will learn how to make attractive scented container candles and pillar candles, including wax melts, using premium materials (natural soy wax, dried botanicals and vegan friendly fragrance oils).


In addition to the practical elements, the 4 hour workshop will cover:

A brief history of candle making

Scent notes

An overview of wax types, wicks, dyes and scents

Candle making equipment

Candle making challenges and troubleshooting

Top candle care tips

An overview of candle safety legislation


The workshop is for beginners - no prior candle making experience is necessary. All equipment and materials are provided.


Each participant will take home two tin candles, one glass container candle, six tea lights, a colourful pillar candle and five wax melt tarts decorated with dried botanicals. Most importantly, participants will enjoy developing the skills to make more beautiful candles at home!
